ILUKA

YAMBA & ANGOURIE
At the mouth of the Clarence River Yamba is the coastal destination that dreams are made of. The town’s
beaches are blissful, with world-beating surf breaks and marine parks that brim with dolphins, sea turtles
and migrating whales – all enveloped by national parks and wilderness reserves. And the town’s thriving
dining and shopping scene is sure not to disappoint.

MACLEAN
Self-proclaimed as ‘The Scottish Town of Australia’, Maclean is enveloped by fields of sugarcane and
farmland. Spend your day exploring it’s charmed-filled streets, fishing off the riverbank or taking the
scenic walk to the Maclean Lookout that boasts unrivaled views over the entire Clarence Valley.

GRAFTON
At the heart of the Clarence Valley region lies Grafton, an historic town lined with glorious architecture,
on the banks of the Clarence River, containing an array of shopping and cafes. Famous for its striking array
of Jacaranda trees and its vibrant arts scene.

ULMARRA
Small in population but big in personality, Ulmarra delivers country swagger and quirky cool in equal
measure. On the banks of the Clarence River, the former port town boasts a particularly well-preserved
collection of heritage-listed buildings, many of which now house stores and galleries. Spend the day
exploring the many antiques stores searching for that rare collectable or have lunch at the Ulmarra Hotel.

WOOLI
Set on a narrow three-kilometre peninsula, the tiny town of Wooli is practically an island Just a 40min
drive south Iluka, life here revolves around the water, whether you’re surfing, swimming and fishing, or
cruising around the immense Solitary Islands Marine Park. The peaceful Wooli River also make it ideal for
kayaking and paddle-boarding.
