Easy place to rest with little family
Beth M - 3rd January 2023Great little place just a few metres from the river with large outdoor verandah safe for kids and screened from intense summer heat. Simple, clean interior with tiles spaces which suited us with kids mess. Furnishings are basic and in need of an update, especially lounges which were shredding underneath. I would book again because of the verandah and location.

Julie - 22nd January 2020We look forward every year to our holiday at Tais Hideaway. Room for a boat, an out door shower and great covered areas to sit back and relax. The water is a short walk as is everything you need. The inside has high ceilings and fans which help keep it cool although at night in the bedrooms and bathroom windows need to be closed for privacy from units next door which can be uncomfortable. TV and entertainment could be updated to make it more usable especially as the signal often drops out.

Excellent rental with high roofed undercover parking for med-large boat and or car. Yard well maintained, fully fenced if you have young family. House had everything we needed for a great week. Water just across the road and all amenities within close walking distance of house, pub, bowls club, IGA and fish co-op. Recommend for small family or group of 3-4.

Jason - 19th April 2019We stay at Tai’s Hideaway, over the April school holidays and couldn’t believe how quite it was at Iluka. We haven’t been since 2012 and weren’t disappointed. Beautiful place to stay, Tai’s Hideaway has everything a small family needs, large deck, nice beds, very clean. Close to everything you need. Our only negative is it could use something to dry clothes inside, (like a dryer, airer or uncover line) as it rain almost everyday and we had to go down to the caravan park laundromat.

Perfect Holiday Home
Julie - 14th January 2019Love staying here as the position is brilliant and the house spotless. A double driveway and carport means there is ample room for a boat and 2 cars. With high ceilings and a large verandah we found the fans kept the house cool. The large verandah is huge and the river across the road. Everything you need is within walking distance. Can’t wait till we are back.
