This beautifully renovated 2 bedroom cottage with a sleep-out is in the perfect location and directly opposite Iluka Bowling Club "Club Iluka". The cottage features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom plus a separate toilet. The kitchen is well appointed and includes a dishwasher. There is an undercover outdoor area at the rear of the cottage, perfect to enjoy a BBQ meal.
Salt Water Cottage is situated within close walking distance to most things in Iluka with the bay two streets away and the main street just around the corner.

Comfy Little home.
Vicki M - 19th November 2024We enjoyed our six night stay at the cottage. Fabulous outdoor area for our furbaby. Rest and relaxed holiday is what we were craving and we had it. Had everything we needed. Could use a little love and an airconditioner would be a huge plus for this property. Overhead fans were okay but after some hot weather did not quite do their job, and some windows would just not open. Overall, good for the price and we would certainly stay again in the cooler months. Bed was comfortable. Thank you.
Comfortable cottage
William P - 5th August 2024Salt Water Cottage was comfortable and within easy walk of bakeries, butcher, supermarket etc. And the bowlo is directly across the road, great for a roll and the very good Chinese restaurant. Nit picking here.....dirty bbq, no DVD, no clotheshorse, saucepans not cleaned properly.

Iluka cottage
Grahame S - 25th October 2023Salt Water Cottage is a neat cottage pretty much central to all facilities at Iluka. It has everything you need including a small library and board games. It is situated across the road from Iluka Club, which makes it very easy to utilise the club facilities, including take away meals. It is an easy stroll down to the river where you can take advantage of the riverside pathway for a walk or more vigorous run.

Kate S - 4th February 2023Iluka is magic and we’ll be back. Salt Water Cottage is a great little cottage which suited our needs for our budget. No view of anything, but had the basic amenities and comforts to satisfy our needs. Fans in all of the rooms definitely helped with the heat and humidity. I’d just say that it would’ve been nice to have the garden a little tidied up - even a mow would’ve been nice. Other than that, it was great.

Anthony F - 29th October 2022Bathroom vent window was disgusting The bed room door doesn’t close or open as should fell off three times there is a double power point right behind your head in main bed(really) Can’t Lock Screen doors no hose it was split and had been for a while,the fitting for hose was broken and then a stranger walked into the yard to check the bin and is not on with out prior notice As far as I know if I rent somewhere then that property is yours and you cannot enter without permission. Maggie B - 2nd December 2021What a lovely little cottage and having the pet enclosure was excellent. I would have liked some washing up detergent left for our immediate use as I had to reshop to purchase some - (why leave an empty bottle near the sink?) I'm happy to buy most things but a spare toilet roll and toilet cleaner would also have been appreciated, but apart from that I found the cottage comfortable and the location wonderful. I want to stay longer next time as I had just relaxed. Thankyou for having us Maggie

Great place to stay for a holiday
Russell - 28th October 2020A very clean and comfortable place to have our holiday, walking distance to every thing and straight across the road from the bowling club. However- the back patio could do with more lighting to make better use of a night time especially when using the BBQ. My wife and I will definitely be back to Iluka and this cottage again.
