Lyn H - 6th August 2024Excellent roomy unit, all rooms wheelchair friendly, lovely view, comfy bed. Disappointed was led to believe that there would only be 2 or 3 steps, however there were 5 and with a wheelchair and invalid very difficult to get into unit and off-putting to take hubby out again. Another letdown, the photo viewed when selecting where to stay, showed a jetty, the main reason I chose it. Really disappointed it was behind a locked gate and private, so no fishing due to rocks. Not wheelchair friendly.
Awesome Apartment
Shirley B - 3rd June 2024If you are looking for total relaxation out of the city this is the place to be. I booked 9 nights in the off peak period so not too many people around. The apartment was great had everything I needed wifi great. I was blessed with nice weather so I could sit outside and watch the dolphins, yachts, boats go by. Beautifully positioned on the Clarence River. Walking distance to Iluka shops and friendly people. I will be definitely be returning.

Roger - 29th May 2024Perfectly positioned on the riverfront, a lovely place to relax and unwind. We have stayed a number of times and will continue to do so." However, as requested by you for the benefit of the owners - 1. The ensuite bathroom is in need of an update. 2. Grout in floor tiles needs a deep clean, particularly ensuite and kitchen. 3. The plumbing for both WCs needs looking at - the "flush" is not 100% and there sometimes "leak back"!

The riverside location is a top spot for sunset barbeques and for watching the river flow. It's also very conveniently located to the amazing Chez Basho Boatshed Cafe - the BEST place to eat in Iluka. Highly recommended.

The apartment has all you need for a stress free holiday. I would suggest the cleaners check the filters on the dishwasher. Our greasy items did not wash well! The apartment is so quiet & peaceful. We enjoyed watching the boats, dolphins & birds. We wish to visit again as we enjoyed Iluka so much & will choose this apartment again.

Ian - 3rd August 2022We were surprised to find a king size main bed when, as instructed to bring our own linen, we brought queen size sheets. This was own third visit to this apartment and so there was an initial cause for alarm until we found that king size sheets were installed. Has the policy changed regarding bed sheets?

Exceptional
Roger P - 21st May 2022We have been visiting Iluka every year for the past 22 years, caravanning up to now. We loved 2.3. The outlook is perhaps the most peaceful you could find. The level of appointment and comfort is exceptional, must mention that the queen bed is superb. All the little things are there, right down to tools to take meat out of crab claws. The location is perfect, easy walk to shops and we are still close to friends in the caravan park. Have rebooked for next year.

The apartment is spacious & all rooms tastefully decorated. Furnishings are very comfortable & the apartment is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The apartment was extremely clean & tidy on arrival. Bonus is a great ground floor patio to enjoy the perfect sunsets. Short stroll to all amenities in the local village & can highly recommend the pub

Robert - 25th April 2022Overall very good, clean, well presented and equipped, spacious. However would not stay in this unit again as the beds were very uncomfortable, poor mattresses and very noisy. Grass between the units and the river was not mowed, understand that this was probably not the unit's responsibility but there should be liaison with whoever has that responsibility as it detracted from the units.
Hi Robert and thank you for your feedback. I have taken your comments on the bedding onboard and the new bed is on its way and will be upgraded to a king for your next visit. Unfortunately prior to your visit we endured months of heavy rain and this played a part in most of the lawns in Iluka not being able to be mowed due to the soggy ground but the area has since been mowed.
So relaxing!

Sarah - 29th December 2020We love these units, have stayed in a few and this one was great too. The only thing I’d change is adding an additional aircon for the bedrooms, it gets pretty hot back there, but we managed to get by with the portable fans provided.

All in all a very practical unit, air con is important in summer so that’s a plus. Didn’t get five stars because of slapdash clean; but I’ve passed this on to the Agent who was very receptive and helpful. Will always return to Riverview because of the unit quality, convenience and of course, it’s right on the Clarence.

tudor55 - 14th December 2017We hired this apartment for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Must be the best location in Iluka with a lovely view, a few steps away from the Yamba ferry/Boatshed restaurant, and a short walk to the main street. The apartment is quite spacious with quality fittings, and fully equipped kitchen. We've previously had issues with other rentals in regards to cleaning, but no such problem here. We would thoroughly recommend this property. The only suggestion we would have is that perhaps the lounge suite seats could do with re-padding.

Lan - 18th July 2015We spent 6 nights at this beautiful location great views and perfectly appointed. Lovely and clean. Only small issue we had was getting my aged parents up and down the backstairs to the river there are no hand railings, but the front 4 stairs have a hand railing so no real problems. Cant wait to come back.
