Cleanliness was a bit lacking but this was fixed when requested. Some more comfortable beds and linen would add to the property so much. Overall we would stay again the kids loved it. We had a lovely holiday.

The kitchen has everything you need, the lounge room is very spacious and the tv is great it was a pity that in the facts on this place that it doesn’t say anything about a DVD player otherwise I would have bought some dvds with me considering the weather wasn’t very nice to us. The only bad comment I have is that the king size bed is very uncomfortable and no hairdryer

Shelly - 24th May 2021Loads of space, wonderful serene view of the river, great location and bonus duck and butcher bird lunch companions. Loved the king size bed and jigsaw puzzles for a rainy night. It was a perfect long weekend, we will definitely be staying again.
Nice surprise
David - 2nd May 2021Even though we had hoped to get a cabin at nearby Woody Head we had a nice surprise from our stay at Montrose in Iluka. The apartment suited our 2 couples well-bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living. And the view of the river and easy access to the pathway was a extra treat. We will be back!
Stunning view
JanH - 9th April 2021Montrose has a stunning view over Iluka Bay. We saw beautiful sunsets and dolphins from the front yard. Kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable with sheets supplied for the king bed, main bathroom has rails to help anyone with a mobility problem. There is a garage with two car accommodation. The new flooring in lounge looks great,we have stayed before and will again.

Jen64 - 14th March 2021Stayed with my 93yr old mum whos on a walker, for 2 weeks and it was absolutely wonderful set up for her. The views were stunning, great walks and so quiet. Couldn't of asked for a better location. Definitely will be returning.

If we weren't enjoying water craft or swimming in the bay at our door step, we were enjoying the many pristine sights nearby. We never tired of the bay view and its sunsets. The locals are very friendly and dining at the Sedgers reef hotel was our favourite. We would definitely return.

Alyson - 2nd November 2020Stayed at Montrose by the Bay 6 times in the past. Location is fabulous overlooking river, close to shops, playground and swimming area, very quiet and relaxing. Appreciate improvements to property including lino/floorboards in loungeroom, new BBQ, side paved area - looks great. Recommend new lightweight ironing boards (current one is extremely heavy) and locks on both bathrooms to ensure privacy. Thanks, Alyson
