Set on the banks of the mighty Clarence River, this 2 bedroom air conditioned unit is on the ground floor with sweeping views and features open planned living areas. This unit has all the creature comforts: TV, DVD, dishwasher, ceiling fans, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Enjoy your own private balcony with beautiful river views, fish from the private jetty in the complex. Store your boat in one of the 3 car spaces allocated to the unit and put the boat in with ease as you are located next door to the main boat ramp. There is a swimming pool and bbq area within the complex available to all in-house guests.

Fantastic spot
Tony S - 5th December 2024we parked the car and it didnt move for the 3 days we were there. we were able to mour the boat at the jetty out the front of the complex too which made life easy. Courtesy bus to the pub aor the club was our mode of transport.

Suresh N - 20th March 2024We’re so happy to discover this property after having an AirBnB reservation elsewhere in Iluka “declined” for whatever reasons. My wife and I have visited Iluka on many occasions for short fishing trips and found this property to be the most suitable for us. Very comfortable with all the necessary facilities and a comfy bed. Conveniently located next to the boat ramp and under cover parking available for both the car and boat. The west facing balcony makes for beautiful sunset views.

Lyn Q - 25th January 2024Clean inside unit however stairwell dirty and recycle bin outside unit wasn't emptied from previous tenant. Inside unit was clean but dated. Disappointed that there was no wifi connection as there is in adjoining units. Good location, however view from unit blocked by scout hall.

Antoinette G - 25th April 2023Unit was very clean & comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Water views from unit were very enjoyable & relaxing. Balcony very usable also. Jetty was nice for fishing but could be improved by adding safety rails at sides & end to accomodate those with mobility problems. Shower small with no rails for assistance however adequate if tenants bring their own small shower stool & rubber floor mat plus suction grab bars. Would really like to visit again.
Basic with no Frills
Matthew L - 15th January 2023I would say this place is tightly managed. Clean yes, location great, comfortable yes, up to par with other accomodations stayed in Iluka and abouts - average. There was little extra to this accomodation. Handsoap in the bathroom and kitchen were watered down and just enough for the whole stay in both bottles. No hand towel in the bathroom. No tea towel to dry the dishes and the dish cloth was only minimal and had been used previously. How many times? So adeqaute but nothing special
Wonderful family friendly unit
tina a - 22nd December 2022We love Camawood because of the perfect location & have been coming to the units for years. Love the modern renovations of Unit 2. Only thing I’d note was the dripping taps in the bathroom which needs to be looked at just to save water. The air con was a little sporadic so perhaps it might need a service but on the whole it was fine. My daughter wished it had wifi lol but that didn’t bother us at all. She’s 10 though ! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to being back next year!

Margie - 14th September 2020We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Unit 2 at Camawood. It was exceptionallly clean and well appointed, the bed was super comfortable and the recliner chairs were superb. It was great to sit on the verandah and enjoy the birds and watch the activity on the water. The undercover parking was a real bonus and we enjoyed not having the internet for a whole week!! We have already recommended the unit to friends and we hope to go back there in the future ... but for Several weeks next time!
Handy Location
Annette - 11th March 2020Terrific being so close to boat ramp. Plenty of parking space. Having the private jetty to tie up to was a bonus. Lovely clean unit with comfy beds. Sunset drinks on the balcony was very welcome. Lovely village to visit.
Wonder views

Being waterfront there are wonderful views of the river from your large balcony, living area and main bedroom, a delight at breakfast time or wine o'clock to watch the sunset. It is centrally located so close to everything. Excellent value."
Meets the brief!
Therese - 14th April 2018If you are seeking a holiday getaway, where you get a water view from the sofa, dinner table and the master bedroom, then look no further than Camawood. Two huge bedrooms, two tvs, dishwasher, aircon, a stones throw from the waterfront. A pool, private jetty and masses of car/boat/ bike space round out this fabulous fishing destination. I sat and read while dad and the kids reversed the tinny from the ample veranda. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is the very comfy but very daggy decor, which I strongly urge you overlook. We will definately be back. Excellent value, excellent position.
