LJ Hooker Iluka proudly presents "Rainforest Retreat". A well-equipped holiday home in a beautiful, central, yet very peaceful location. Short stroll to Iluka Bay for a swim, or enjoy an evening sunset over the water. Take a morning walk through Iluka's World Heritage Rainforest via main entrance which is just around the corner. Sedgers Hotel, Bowls Club, cafes, shops and monthly Sunday market are also all within a short walking distance. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has all the comforts of home, offering spacious bedrooms, open plan kitchen/dining, remote double garage with internal access, expansive, private under cover patio/BBQ area and a handy chest freezer for all the ones that didn't get away.

Roslyn H - 19th May 2024Great holiday house with plenty of room for 6 of us. A few things needing a bit of attention - the vertical blinds in the kitchen need to be thrown in the bin, they are mouldy and this was in comments from over 12 months ago, and the curtains in the dining area are also mouldy. The bottom shelf in the fridge door is just sitting there, the plastic clips are broken. Also a bit disappointed that it took almost 3 weeks for the $300 bond to be refunded.

Very clean and plenty of things in the kitchen for cooking, if you wish too. Also dish liquid, soap, toilet paper and shampoo, something many places do not supply. Thank you to the owners, the house is a credit to you.

Gephart Brett - 5th October 2023What a place to unwind. The house is set up perfectly for the fishing/beach/boating family holiday. Close to everything, main street, boat ramps, pub and 'bowlo'. Heaps of room for all to relax. Right on the forest, making for awesome walks and lots of wildlife. Everything you'll need has been considered by the owners. Best of all, we could enjoy it with our little furry friend! Safe and secure for the dog! Friendly and helpful neighbours and locals. We cannot recommend this oasis enough.

Perhaps something in the garage as entertainment eg a dart board or table tennis table. Air con in the lounge room would be a great addition. Everything else was lovely It was clean and quiet and we enjoyed our stay

Also being pet friendly allowed our fur babys to come with us an there love the water an ⛱️ beach. a couple of minor details is the light in the fridge doesn't work an the bulb in the bedside table has blown. But a great holiday 🏡
Quiet and Comfortable
Deborah Taylor - 31st March 2022This house has everything, 2 queen sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 is an ensuite) 3rd bedroom for kids. The kitchen has all appliances that you will need. God sized kitchen and dining room. Comfortable couches in the living room. A great outside BBQ are that is fully screened.

A large umbrella for shade over the outddoor table would be a huge addition. It is just too hot to sit out there for midday meals 4. There was a lot of dead cockroaches so maybe there had been baits recently Hats off to the cleaners though as the place was spotless when we arrived Many thanks Dale (not Dianne)

If I could add one thing, it would be air conditioning in the dining and lounge areas, as it does get hot and stuffy...

Marea - 25th October 2020We loved our stay at Rainforest Retreat Iluka..there are not too many nice places we can holiday at with our 2 very clean Maltese x Shitzu little girls..We loved everything about the home it contained all essentials for a relaxed holiday...walking distance to eating places etc.Hopefully we can come back again one day.
Great family holiday home
Shannon - 6th October 2020This property is excellent for families or adult groups looking for a relaxing getaway. Our group of 4 adults had plenty of room, and the ensuite was an added bonus. We loved the outdoor area and spent lots of time out there. The kitchen was well equipped and the dishwasher was much needed. Others have mentioned the tree at the end of the driveway, definitely keep an eye on it as it would be very easy to reverse into. The yard was a good size and very well fenced, and our dogs were very happy and secure. The lawn is amazing but it's worth noting that the sprinklers came on every night at 7. 30 for an hour. This wasn't mentioned on any of the information I recieved and was a rude shock to the dogs. The home was a little further away from the beach and shops than I expected, but walking distance to the river, pub and bowling club. We would definitely stay at this property again, it was great value.

Lisa - 5th April 2019We loved this retreat, and will definitely be back. The house is spacious, with a lovely breeze and air-con which we really didnt need to use. Good kitchen conveniences. Great quiet location and sizeable garage for tinnie and car. Within walking distance of everything, including the lovely boardwalk. Well worth a stay..but be warned it is very relaxing.

Great for kids
Laelia - 30th April 2016We staid at this house in Iluka for a week and was such a nice and comfy place to come back to. Safe for the kids as it is fenced from outside bbq area and bedding was a great arrangement. In a quiet street 5 minute walk to shops, bowls club and water. Great that it had a dryer as it did rain for the first few days. Will definately be staying there again on our yearly holidays to Iluka.
