LJ Hooker Iluka presents "Camawood Unit 11". Set right on the bank of the Mighty Clarence River this special unit is elevated to take advantage of the sweeping views and features open planned living areas. This unit has all the everyday necessities such as TV, DVD, ceiling fans, air conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Enjoy your own private balcony with beautiful river views, fish from the jetty in the complex. Store your boat in one of the 3 car spaces allocated to the unit and put the boat in with ease as you are located next door to the boat ramp. There is a swimming pool and bbq area within the complex available to all in-house guests.

Relaxing and quiet

Unlike most holiday accommodation, the kitchen was very well equipped and the unit had multiple thoughtful inclusions (eg: reusable shopping bags, hand wash, pegs & wash basket +++). A lovely secluded spot right on the river with access right next door to the boat ramp and just minutes to the ocean.

Patricia T - 6th January 2022What a little gem. Clean and roomy. Close enough to everything to walk, cycle, or swim. Excellent kitchen facilities and huge fridge for all the fish you catch at the front door! Pool was clean and grounds are well maintained. We will definitely be back!

The price is from the 1980s The guests are all mature and friendly unlike modern yuppies. The agents are competent and the unit is clean - just like the 1980s. We love this dated property.

Great Spot
BrettM - 5th January 2021Second time we have stayed in the Camawood complex and this is a fantastic location with great river views. So handy to the boat ramp and a nice unit. Given the clearance and space associated with onsite parking not suitable for larger boats (say over 4.2 metres) but otherwise very convenient.
GREAT LOCATION
tracy - 21st December 2020We enjoyed our stay here. Everything we needed was within walking distance and the views from the unit were beautiful.Best restaurant in Iluka "Maraccas" is a 5 minute walk. We used the jetty to tie up our boat and even caught some fish off the wharf. The ferry terminal to Yamba is close and their Sunday Lunch music cruise is great you can bring your own food or purchase on board. Residents at the apartment are helpful and there is everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Being handy to the boat ramp is good too Monday mornings surprisingly busy.
Comfortable Unit
Caranev - 27th November 2019We stayed for a week in November. Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The unit has a great view of the Clarence river and is in easy walking distance to shops and bowls club. Unfortunately at the time of our visit all the national parks were closed due to the approaching fire. The only negative with our accommodation is that I feel the owners should update the TV in the lounge area as not all channels are able to be received and the quality of the picture is a bit ordinary.
Beautiful Spot
Michelle - 25th April 2019Great location overlooking the boat ramp and Clarence River with it's beautiful sunsets. Handy to IGA, river and beach. The Ferry to Yamba leaves from just around the corner. It is an older property which is quite dated, but it was very clean and tidy and had everything you would need. It a bit like going to stay at Grandmas house, a very cosy, home away from home, atmosphere. The caretaker was a lovely man. We will definitely be back.

LRuthven - 4th October 2018The apartment had everything you could need for a great stay. The location is good, close to the ferry and boat ramp. Wonderful views on the river. There is undercover parking for a car and boat. Easy walk to town if you have good mobility. The only downside is the apartment is very dated, but for the price you cant really complain.
