LJ Hooker presents “The Cane Cutters Cottage”. This lovingly renovated original cottage is set on one acre amongst working cane farms, on the bank of the majestic Clarence River. It has been decorated with local artwork and vintage pieces and just oozes character and charm. You will find the original wood fired cooker alongside all the modern conveniences like fast internet, filtered water, flat screen TV, ceiling fans and a combustion wood fireplace for those cosy evenings inside.
Wake to the sound of the cattle and then collect the fresh eggs from the chicken coup before spending the day relaxing in the 14 metre salt water pool or on the covered veranda’s enjoying the river views or just enjoy walking amongst the 400 native plants, fruit trees and cottage garden.
There is also a games area in the barn that has a full size Table Tennis table and a darts board that is available for guests.
“The Cane Cutters Cottage” is perfectly located only 50 mtrs from the Clarence river, 200 mtrs from the Woombah boat ramp, 2 klms from Bundjalung National Park and only 15 klms from Iluka with its beautiful beaches, golf course, restaurants and rainforest walks.
“The Cane Cutters Cottage” is a retreat for 3 or 4 guests that are looking for a relaxing getaway and to enjoy all that the area has to offer. With fishing, mountain biking, bush walking just to name a few.
